NEW YORK, Sept. 12, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — The American Kennel Club^® (AKC^®) is excited to celebrate their 140^th anniversary with the Empire State Building by lighting the skyscraper with their signature colors; blue and white. The AKC is the foremost source for all things dogs and continues to promote canine health and responsible dog ownership throughout the years.

The lighting ceremony will be held at The Empire State Building on September 16^th at 3:00pm. The ceremony will include a visit from special canine guests and remarks from AKC President and CEO Dennis Sprung.
